A music producer sampled his dog’s noises to create Georgie Michael’s Careless Whisper.
Audio engineer and producer Dan Willett, 34, was bored in quarantine at his home in Birmingham and made the iconic song, Careless Whisper, with his five-year-old samoyed’s barks and growls.
Dan said: ‘I recorded a bunch of barks, grumbles and other sounds that he makes, cut them up and loaded them into some sampler software.
‘Then I messed around with them a bunch until I’d made all the instruments necessary to recreate the iconic intro to Careless Whisper by George Michael.

‘Rufus is extremely vocal by nature he’s even featured in a couple of songs that I’ve worked on previously so the idea of releasing a sample pack of his various noises had been floating around in my brain for a while,’ said Dan
The video shows Rufus doing some bog-standard barking, breathing, grumbling and tippy tapping before Dan saves some of those sounds on his computer as ‘heckin borkus’ and ‘oh god what am I doing.’
