The Siamese is one of the oldest recognized breeds of Oriental cats, originating from Thailand (formerly known as Siam). They are best known for their sleek, distinctive appearance. Although many Siamese cats are a silver-gray color with blue eyes, these pretty kitties' coats can also be orange, brown, cream, and even blue or lilac-colored, among other coat variations. But there's much, much more to Siamese cats than their mysteriously good looks! It's their character!

#1 Make sure you’re not there

When you're gone, the Siamese walk around to make sure that you're not home anymore. Cats love to patrol and sniff for new things they may have missed. They are very curious animals!

#2 They are sleep a lot

Cats are sleeping a lot during the day. They sleep between 12 to 16 hours on a normal day.

#3 They do their daily stretches

The Siamese stretch several times a day. But do you know why cats do it? They are slepping for a long time and this causes numbness. Stretching gives them a very pleasant sensation and also stimulates blood circulation.

#4 They are eating

The tranquility of a silent house makes cats able to eat without any stress. The snack will distract them for a good length of time and keep them well.

#5 They look out the window

#10 They make pranks

Most of cats are calm, but some of them take advantage if no is around to do things prohibited. They can steal food, climb into the top of furniture or throw something to the ground.

#11 They are exploring

You won’t find that when you come home. Cats usually have a secret stash of objects they like and regularly update with things like that pen cap.

#13 They welcome you home…..

Some cats can't stop meowing when we get home, as a welcome, others rub against us to plant their smell on us and some don't even flinch!

#14 ….and love you completely
